where are SUNDARA products made?
- our fragrance products are formulated and made in India by a sixth-generation perfume house and a third-generation incense specialist.
- our hardware pieces are currently from a mix of India and China, but we’re working hard to switch all our production to India, as our goal is to turn “made in India” into a badge of honour.
how long will my SUNDARA products last?
- our hardware pieces are designed to last forever and be reused as much as possible. we’ve prioritised using the highest quality materials such as brass, marble and premium glass to ensure that our pieces stand the test of time.
- to ensure they stay in great condition, clean them regularly with a damp cloth and avoid using abrasive cleaning products.
- our incense will burn for ~30 minutes per stick, but should create a fragrance that lingers in your room far beyond that. all of our home fragrances are created as refills for our hardware pieces, so you can keep using them over and over again.
what do your home fragrances smell like?
- our incense fragrances will be shipping from January 2026 and use a mix of ingredients inspired by East and West – think sandalwood, vetiver, cardamom, oud, jasmine, oak moss, rose, honey (and more to come!)
- each scent is designed to create a soft, ambient atmosphere in your home, transporting you to places like a morning stroll in the forest, a day by beach or an afternoon at a spa.
are SUNDARA products safe to use and cruelty-free?
our incense and fragrance products are all IFRA (international fragrance association) accredited, which ensures quality, safety and sustainability in every scent. our fragrances are also phthalate-free, providing an extra layer of safety and purity.
we work with suppliers who are certified by the WFTO (world fair trade organisation) to ensure that the artisans and craftspeople who are involved in the making of our products have a safe and supportive working environment, which encourages them to develop and hone their skills, ensuring that these ancient arts and crafts are carried forward to many generations in the future.
what size incense sticks fit in my incense burner?
we've got a dual-sided mount which will allow you to burn incense of 2-2.5mm width on one side and 2.5-3.5mm width on the other.
the maximum length for the incense is ~16cm, for the best burn.
do you accept returns?
- we want to make sure you love your SUNDARA pieces as much as we do, so we’re happy to accept any returns within 14 days of receiving your order.
- all returned items must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging. check out our returns page for more information on how to make a return.
do you ship outside of the UK?
at the moment, we’re only able to ship within the UK, but we’re working on getting international shipping up and running as soon as possible! we really appreciate your patience.
